An indieweb riddle: you have a static site generator and a webmention receiver. How do you render webmentions without having webmentions trigger a rebuild or using javascript?
My answer: Server Side Includes! If your server has SSI on, add a little comment to your post template like this:
<!--# include virtual="/path/to/webmentions/for/this/post" -->and the server will fetch mentions in a subrequest and inline the result directly into the HTML. ggez
